Before we talk about these important women we want to make clear what a "STEAM woman" is and why women are so important to the development of technology.

 

A "STEAM woman" is one who study and develop a career related to technology, science, mathematics, engineering, or all of the above. 

Day by day companies are beginning to value women in these careers and are beginning to look for them because they have a lot of potential. Because of the feminism and the demands for gender equality that include the same rights and opportunities, women began to achieve more spaces in the technological world.

In addition,several studies done, have shown that women are more responsible, they selfdemand more than men, and in companies or teams where there are more gender diversity, the work has higher quality and is more productivity.
